At this time of year, October, with winter nights drawing in and the weather changing, temperatures dropping.  Many of us wake up to the wet windows, dripping water on glass, dampness within the air, all signs of the changing seasons.  We must dry off those wet windows of condensation before any further damage is done.  As we sleep, the moisture from our breath creates moisture within the air.  The change in humidity and temperature from external to internal creates condensation issues.  It is cold in the mornings and cold in the late evening.  Our internal temperature should be set on moderate heating to allow the home to be warm.  With the cost of energy, everyone is looking to minimise their energy bills.  The moisture within the home will seek out the cold spots on walls and ceilings and thus creates Aspergilla mould growth.  Not all damp problems are related to rising damp.  Need an expert opinion, then give Stone Oak Limited a call.
